Informations about Spider
Before learning how to draw a spider from Minecraft, let’s start by discovering some information about spiders first!
Spiders (scientific name is Araneae) are an order of predatory, invertebrate animals in the arthropod, arachnid class. Their body has only two parts: the cephalothorax and abdomen, they have eight legs, a pair of pliers with venom glands, a mouth without chewing jaws, and no wings.
All spiders are capable of making layers of “spider web”, a thin but strong silk-like fiber of protein, secreted from the back of the abdomen. Spider webs are used to do many things such as creating ropes for climbing walls, nesting in rock cavities, creating shelters and packages for bait, and holding eggs and sperm. Many spiders use the sticky nature of their webs to trap prey, while others hunt by stalking and ambushing.
Most insects have three body parts: head, thorax, and abdomen. Spiders differ in that they have only two parts: the cephalothorax in one part, and the other in the abdomen. The exception is the killer spider (Eriauchenius gracilicollis) – especially because it is the only species with a neck (actually the cephalothorax divided into two separate parts).
The outside of the spider’s abdomen does not contain many segments – except for species of the family Liphisiidae. The end of the cephalothorax is a connection so that the spider has the ability to move the abdomen in all directions. Insects in the class Arachnida usually do not have this part.
In the minecraft game, A spider is a common neutral mob that has the unique ability to climb walls. Spiders spawn from spawners in dungeons (25% chance), as well as secret rooms surrounded by cobwebs in woodland mansions.
